Tom Andrews presided over an excellent Burns Supper last night. The haggis was piped in by Craig from the 1st Troon BB Pipe Band and borne on high by Katrina Geddes.
Tom Barr toasted the haggis in a most entertaining manner and we enjoyed great food, courtesy of Passion Caterers.

Tom then introduced our guest speaker, the weel kent figure of Jimmy Gibson. Jimmy is a Past President of the World Burns Federation and a past member of Symington CC. He gave a most interesting and informative speech on the life and times of the Bard.
Rob White gave the Toast to the Lassies without stinting in the number, variety and humour of his jokes and in reply, Cathy Costello was equally entertaining.
There was first class entertainment provided both by a Trio from the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra and a rendition of Holy Willie's Prayer by Alec Baird.
The evening was rounded off by first class toast to Ayr Curling Club from Bobby Ireland and a Vote of Thanks from Lou Costello.
