Ayr United wins the Ayr CC Quiz

"Ayr United" actually won a competition last night but not on the football field.  Darvel CC, Team Name Ayr United, had a comprehensive victory in the Quiz, displaying their knowledge over 10 rounds of testing categories. They won the first prize of £100.

Pictured above are second placed  "Crisp N Nuts" who took the £50 prize.

There was also a Booby Prize for the aptly named "We don't mind being last"

The winners are shown in the headline being presented their prize by Cathy Costello and Bella Kennedy.

Cathy organised an excellent event and was a first class Quizmaster.  She was ably assisted by Bella, who ran the raffle.
