Sorn Win Eglinton Jug

 

The annual competition for the Eglinton Jug, Ayrshire's most prestigious curling
competition,  was held at Ayr ice rink with thirty-six rinks participating.
The Eglinton Jug was presented by the 13th Earl of Eglinton in 1851 and is an
amazing work of craftsmanship and is competed for by Clubs in Ayrshire.
Winners in this the 165th year were Sorn 3 with Skip John Johnston, David Bell,
Colin Murdoch and Claire Johnston.
Runners up in a very close game were Sorn 2 with Skip Robert Clark,
Murray Stevenson, Gail Thomson and Mark Pieroni.
