Willie & Nessie Mair Bonspiel

The Willie & Nessie Mair Memorial cue bonspiel took place on Wednesday 1st March with 48 curlers all playing with cues. Many were not regular cue players so there was a degree of adjustment for some! Everyone enjoyed themselves both on and off the ice.
The competition came to a fitting climax with two of the unbeaten rinks playing each other with their game coming down to the very last shot of the last end when Margaret Morton just pipped Jim Mair to win the competition by a single shot.
The prizes were presented by Willie & Nessie's great granddaughter Eve ably assisted by her mother Carrie.
