Curlfest 2017

A great success!  We had over 90 people, new to curling, who came along to see what our great game was all about. There was also a fantastic response from Ayr CC members, who manned the stalls, baked the cakes, bought the raffle tickets and brought their friends to make a great atmosphere in the bar. 

There was Real Ale to sample (and drink), faces to paint, a tombola, a raffle, excellent home baking, indoor curling, Sue Howat with her amazing artwork, hand made chocolates and of course our hard working coaches who made sure everyone had a chance to try some curling.

Great credit goes to the committee of Ayr Curling Club, led by Dave McIntyre and Lorna Munro, for setting up such a superb day. 

Thanks, also, to Margaret Morton and Scott Andrews who took time to come along and show their Olympic Medals.
