Frank McHugh BEM

Sunday 17th December saw Frank McHugh ((Dalmellington Craigengillan and a Straiton Curling Clubs)receive his British Empire Medal for services to the scout movement and the community of Dalmellington from the Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran Iona Sara McDonald.  

The award ceremony was held in the 33rd Ayrshire Scout hall in Dalmellington with over 100 friends, relations and scouts attending many of whom told stories about Frank and his exploits.

Frank has been involved in the scout movement for over 66 years which is some commitment.
