This Thursday, at Perth, the Scottish Seniors Championships starts and Ayr are well represented.
In the womens finals Margaret Agnew, Gail Thomson, Linda McAulay and Gillian King kick off the games at 9.30 in a strong section of 5.
Robert Clark's team of Billy Howat, Alistair Smith and Douglas Reid are in Section A of the men's competition and, amongst others, will play the "Inverness" rink skipped by our own Neil Sands.
