Lady President's Day 2018

Lady President Day. Friday 30th November 2018

I'd like to thank all the lady curlers who came along to support me on this fun day of curling and entertainment. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.  Our curling consisted of four ends, hot mulled wine or chocolate and mince pies, we then played another three ends. Our winning team was skipped by Lorna Munro, with Fiona Bain and Una Semple. 

Following our game we presented Kirsty Letton with a small gift to show our appreciation of all she does for our club and in recognition of her award of MBE. 

A special thank you to Alison Kerr of Corton Plants and The Coo Shed for her excellent demonstration of Xmas wreaths which were later won by Heather Dalgleish and Jennifer Mutter. 

Steven and his team then served us a delicious meal which everyone enjoyed. 

We ended the evening singing curling and Xmas songs kindly accompanied by May Steel. 

Thank to the caterers, bar staff and ice men for helping to make this a special day. 

I'd like to wish all our lady members a Peaceful and Happy Festive Season.
