Congratulations to Evelyn Girvan and the ladies who ran a very successful Bridge Day last Saturday.
Evelyn reports the following:
"The Fund Raising Bridge day on Sat., 22nd Oct., in St Leonards Church hall
went very well. We provided 72 ladies with a glass of wine followed by lunch.
Then came the Bridge lasting 1 1/2 hours. We presented the 1st 2nd prize winners
with an arrangement of flowers.
Then came the Raffle with 35 ladies and gents going home with a prize.
I'm sure everyone had a very pleasant afternoon. We made a total of £1,278."
